Todd McLaren has been involved with broadcasting since the age of thirteen when he started writing bad comedy sketches for WHDH in Boston which nevertheless managed to hit the air.

He began his on-air career while still in school at Syracuse University where he bacame the number one radio personality in town at a station which would eventually go dark. His performance generated thousands of letters over the years but he managed to stay on the air anyway at formerly respectable stations in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

In addition to his radio career he has fooled enough near sighted television producers into casting him on a fair share of forgettable programs, and has parlayed his God-given but meager vocal talents into various films and TV shows including "Married...With Children", and "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit?"; as well as countless Features, Movies of the Week, and TV and radio spots cast by tin-eared advertising executives and casting directors.

Despite his being the off-camera host of The Discovery Channel's "World Of Wonder", the program was nominated for a cable ACE Award as Best Magazine Show in its premier year.

He stumbled into producing the advertising industry's first collection of voice-over talent on CD, and the accompanying "Periodic Table of Voice Talent"; ideas which earned him eternal praise from harried producers, forgiveness from past performances, and absolutely no money.

Todd is certain clerical errors are reponsible for his winning major advertising awards such as the BPME Gold Medallion and the Sunny. While continuing his lifelong quest for the Perfect Waffle (So far, the one to beat: "Fat Apples", Berkeley, CA) he has somehow managed to remain solvent in Los Angeles for the last decade or so. We wish him well. He needs it.
